This is a day for young people who have just received their results or who have taken some time out, but now want to take their next step. This day is aimed at 15-25 year olds with SEND.
Organisations attending so far are: PPCV, CSW, PIAS, University of Plymouth, Skills Group, City College Plymouth, PCC, DWP, Lifeworks, Achievement Training, Skills Launch Pad, Eat that Frog, Babcock, Arts University Plymouth and Discovery College.
The event will have stalls offering information and advice, as well as quiet areas for more individualised conversations between young people and practitioners about their next steps, where they might explore and sign-up for a next-step opportunity appropriate to them. Our hope is that when the new academic year starts in September, everyone has access to an appropriate 'next step' option.
You'll need to register to attend one of the 1.5 hour timeslots where you'll be able to speak with organisations for help and advice. Please register for how many people are attending with you.
The Roland Levinsky Building is easily accessible for everyone. It is the large brown building, located opposite the north entrance to the Drake Circus shopping mall, just across the crossing of Cobourg Street. There will be a cafe with refreshments available at a cost.
Blue badge holders who wish to park outside the uni will require a permit. Please contact us to obtain this by emailing: claire@plymouthpcv.co.uk (Please note - we will require 3 days notice). These spaces are very limited and are offered on a first come first served basis.
For regular parking for all, we recommend: DRAKE CIRCUS CAR PARK
